Hello
It seems the local dealership has finally figured out why the rear ac blows warm while the front blows cold. It only took 5 trips but who am I to complain lol
The part # comes out to F75Z19A522AA or F75Z-19A522-AA. Its listed on Tousley and other online parts outlet but so far all that I have called said it is no obsolete and they are no longer available from Ford.
Any suggestions on where I can find this part (I'll even consider used)?
I don't think they know that much for what they are doing. The last time I brought it to them I mentioned the TXV, orifice tube and blend door acuator. I already paid them for this service last year so at least I want to make sure this is replaced (who knows they might not have last year) then if it doesn't blow cold I will work on the other 2 sources of problems.

I probably should have diagnosed more of the symptoms before taking it to Ford. All I could tell (never ride in back) is that the rear AC isn't cold and the front 2 of the rear 4 ducts seem to have weak airflow. I can reach back while driving and feel the airflow out of those.
Yesterday with temps in the 50F's and engine warmed up I cycled the rear ducts controls from panel to floor. I could feel the air stop when put on floor but couldn't feel any airflow coming from floor vents if those are the ones by the 2nd set of doors. I also cycled the temp from hot to cold and on hot it was very warm (not as hot as front dash) and on cold it did cool down. The rear 2 of the 4 rear ducts had stronger airflow so maybe that is by design but don't recall from my 1st Excursion which I didn't have any problems with.
My question is if the blend door was inop would it not work at all or could it just have partial movement?
Sorry I think I hijacked my own thread :-)
