Oil leak at crankshaft seal?

Hi everyone. I don't have a truck yet but am in the market. I looked at an '01 7.3l f350 today which I'm thinking on buying. 320,000 kms, manual. The guy just did a bunch of work to it. It looks good, runs good, started fine, drove ok. I have a few questions I was hoping to get answered:

1. When accelerating, the steering wheel pulled to the left slightly. Is this an issue? Not sure what would cause that.
2. Looks to be an oil leak at the front of the engine where the crankshaft comes out and attaches to the pulley. I'll try to post a pic when I figure out how (first post). It kinda all splattered around like a bad axle seal. After I test drove it I had a look at it again and there was no new oil. There was no drops of oil on the ground before or after the test drive. Just wondering the severity of the problem.

front seals are simple, remove serpentine belt, remove fan , remove harmonic ballancer, remove oil pump (4 bolts) seal comes out with pump. either change seal (about $50.00) or change pump with melling pump, comes with new seal ( about $100.00) I normally just change the pump on high mileage trucks!

Awesome. Thanks! I think I'll put an offer on it.

I replaced my oil pump because of a front main seal leak, relatively easy job and the melling pump is working well.
