fuel gauge mystery PLEEEEEEEASE
Ok folks i got a real head scratcher here,2004 f150 stx 4.6 over a year ago the gas gauge started failing fill it up and it read 1/4 then it died all together, bought a new pump and sending unit an airtax, put everything back in and VIOLA..no better, still ni gauge reading, took to local guy and said my instrument panel is bad i had brake light on and c.e.l. on as well as low fuel light, i bought a used cluster had him install and VIOLA still no fuel gauge and c.e.l. is back on reading a p0463..is it the sending unit still? Is the cinnection under the driver's side frame rail? How on earth does that come apart? To clean it?..PLEASE ANY help would be great
