Blown Fuse, Truck won't start

Blown Fuse, Truck won't start

My 2007 F150's turn signals and hazard lights quit working. I checked the fuse and it was blown. Once I pulled the old fuse out the truck wouldn't start at all. Any ideas on what happened?

We need more info. Like what is truck doing? By that I mean will it at least crank? Or is it dead not doing anything at all? Is the battery charged? Help us help you.

Blown Fuse

I was driving when the turning lights quit working. The hazard lights quit too. The truck was driving fine. When I pulled out the fuse I saw it was blown. I put another fuse in. Truck won't do anything. No cranking, nothing. I did notice a red wire has broken and is hanging down from trailer plug in at the back. Wondered if that was somehow connected to the turn signals.

Does the battery have power? It's possible that could be what blew the fuse. Remember fuses don't just blow out on their own. When a fuse blows that means you have a short somewhere. So yeah that is possibly the cause of that fuse blowing out. If you are certain that the battery has power check the main fuse.
