I was browsing Autotrader.com last Thursday looking for a SD like I had been doing for months trying to find a good deal. I had pretty much given up on the fact of finding a Low mileage, long wheel base, crew cab with both the Powerstroke and the Fifth wheel/Goose neck hitch...
And then, all of the sudden while scrolling way down the page I stumbled across this Adobe colored 2012 Lariat Ultimate package Crew Cab with only 19,000 Miles and the Factory Fifth wheel, gooseneck prep package and a Powerstroke.....
I couldn't believe it... It had everything I had been looking for and was priced much lower then everything I had been looking at which were all priced in the mid to upper 40's, with a couple Platinum's over 55K used and all of them had higher mileage.... This truck was priced at $39,999
So I make the 3 hour drive over to Daytona and check the truck out... It's a SUPER clean, One elderly owner truck... I test drive it and I am sold....
It is literally still a brand new truck with the new leather smell still inside...
So I am now a member of the Super Duty and Powerstroke Family and I couldn't be any happier.... I absolutely love this truck and I got it at a super deal.... The Dealership took care of all my concerns and did everything I wanted to put this deal together including a new set of Michelin tires so I have to say this was great experiance...
Check it out....
Now I've gotta find a Gooseneck ball kit and a Fifth wheel for it and I'm hoping to use this forum to gain some insight into the PowerStroke and research any issues with the Powerstroke...
(It's my first Diesel in many years)
Congratulations!!! Reese makes the 5th prep for Ford, so the Reese Elite hitch and gooseneck ball drop right in. Lots to read here and a super nice group to chat with. Welcome home....
Congrats on finding your perfect rig. Welcome to the 6.7L Diesel side.
Thank you!

Thank you everyone for all the kind words.... I look forward to seeing you all around on here...
Thanks for the additive info guys... I'll pick some up.. I avoid the unknown cheap fuel stations so I assume I am getting a good quality Diesel by buying name brand.
I only buy Diesel at well known stations (Chevron, Shell, Texaco etc)
On a unrelated topic...Does anyone know how I can update my username on here. I looked through the CP but couldn't find a way to change it?
