Any one have one of these? I have had it for a couple years, first on my 6.0 and now on my 6.7. The other day I was messing with the way I had it mounted and when I looked at the screen I saw this display:
Up until now I thought at most there was an 8 gauge display. Having a 12 gauge display is really nice. But now I want to know how I got to this screen so I can make sure I can get it back. I searched around on google and can't find any reference to a 12 gauge display for the CTS.
Alright, your thread peaked my interest because, well, you just can't have enough gauges! After I got back from lunch, I played around a little but couldn't find any options for this. I thought just maybe you had a newer software version than me. Then when I was about to shut the truck off, I decided to push the down arrow to the left of the Power Level graphic. Two presses of the down arrow resulted in the exact screen that is in your picture! It doesn't get much easier, but it seems to be a hidden feature. There are several different displays available by playing with the arrows.
I also learned rather quickly that if you press and hold either of the inclinometer graphics, it zeros both of them so be sure to be on a level surface if you do that. Mine currently says 0 in both direction but in reality the truck is sitting 4* to the left and 2* nose down. I'll have to find a level spot to calibrate it.
My last update was probably 6 months ago. I haven't heard anybody talk about anything new lately, but it may be time to plug her in and try another update anyway.
Yeah It was in the update I just put on it.I cant remember my last update.Easily six months ago if not more.I like the new screen plus it gave me 2 more pids.I had 8 before now 10 with the pitch and roll not being counted. Was HP always an available pid? I had to pick two more and chose that. Not even sure if it works for our vehicle or not.
I played with the HP a little bit. The computer confuses itself sometimes if you are in and out of the throttle quickly and there is a lag to update the HP being used at the moment, but it seems to be fairly accurate when you compare it to what these trucks normal max output is and the percent of load PID.
I never noticed a torque PID before, but I saw it when I was setting up the new display. I have it on the screen now and will play with it for the next few days to see if it works. Personally, the % load PID is one of my favorite. It can be pretty useful for shifting reference in manual mode.
My unit is pretty new, I think I got it in May and that's the page I use has 10 and that's the most I can get according to my book. OOOOPs, on edit I see your's looks just like mine so you are counting the tilt and pitch gauges and that makes 12. So, yes my book gives me directions to get to 12. If you like I can send you the directions or post here.
If you don't want the pitch and roll Guage can you change them to something else.
When you figure out how, please tell us! I just tried it again an hour ago and there is no changing them from what I see. If you touch either the pitch or roll PID like you do any of the others to change them, it only zeros the gauges. If you press and hold, it zeros and does nothing else. I'm afraid they are there to stay!

Yup I did the same as you.Unless there is some other weird sequence I dont think they can be changed out.
Ok..dang it..I don't know how I missed this thread the other day,but now I am gonna have to try this. I am camping at the moment at its 7 in the morning and I'll bet my camping neighbors won't like me running the truck! Darn! I haven't updated mine since last Sept so I'll bet mine won't do this...but it gives me something to play with when I get home..
