Klunk on hard turns
When turning right or left with a little "enthusiasm," I hear a loud klunk or bang from somewhere underneath my 62--doesn't matter which direction I turn. On cars I've had, sounds like this have been the motor mounts--I took a look at those and while they're not great, they don't appear to be so bad that the motor is jumping around.
I have leaf springs all around, and it appears they haven't been touched in 55 years. Would worn or missing bushings allow them to shift around in cornering? Or should I be looking for something else?

Front spring eye bushings gone. Rears shot too. Uppers go first cause smaller. I have put in several fronts in over the years . Had set up that could change with out pulling springs. Use 2 sockets with allthread. Pull old out/pullnew in
