I just got a decent headliner from the junkyard and its cardboard brown. the one that came with the truck according to the previous owner was white. Now, I hate the white color so I am thinking of painting it green, the color of my truck. Just wanted to know what all of you have. I also got the chrome trim for it if that means anything. So whats your opinion? I also want to do the sunvisors the same color. Thanks!!!
I have 2 XLT's with simulated wood grain dash and leather brown door panels, door pockets, visors, and headliner. Otherwise, they are all white headliners and visors. I did change the color of my headliner (among other parts) in my mustang though. I used a fabric spray that I found at an auto parts store. It did a pretty good job on the fabric and plastic parts I needed to change. The product was/is Dupli-Color Vinyl & Fabric color (it is the same company that makes Krylon brand paint).
My original one was white, but I got some foam backed gray headliner material and some spray glue and now it looks like a headliner in a new pickup and only cost about $20.
Ive got a jade green interior, the same color as the outside except its got a dark grey carpet and the fake wood glovebox. So I am leaning towards painting it either green or black. What do you guys think? The only reason Im thinking black is because the dash bezel, steering wheel, and shifters are black so it might look cool. Also, will the darker color affect the amount of heat in the cab at all?
77 f-100, brown out, tan in, tan liner, 78 f-100 maroon in and out, maroon liner, 79 f-100 dark blue out/in and blue liner( changed to the vinyal lariat liner, blue with chrome squares)

Every Ford p/u Ive seen that hasnt been *******zised yet, has had the headliner the same color as the dashpad
all low trim level trucks had white headliners. vehicles with upscale interior trim got color keyed components like ranger's lariet's xlt's etc... hawkrod
My 79 is green, with green interior, green headliner, green visors and chrome trim. Both of my visors little plastic rods have snapped off in the catches though
Oh yeah, my truck is a ranger. and not to bounce off your post, but what really were the trim packages?
