I just got the 6 volt wiper motor from a 52 F2. What steps should I take to check its condition? I plan on lubing the linkage. Shall I open it up and do a visual check? Can I hook it up to a 12 volt battery? I would like to know if it is in working order before I try to sell it.
I definatly would take the little cover off, that old yellow grease will be hard
as a rock by now, regrease good to go. I rather test it with a small batt.
