cab swap 76 std to 78 super
I have a 76 f-150 4x4 longbed. how hard do you think it would be to swap on a supercab from a 78 f-350 2wd? are the front mounts the same with? i was thinking to cut the bed. has anybody done this? and i would half to finish by september

i've never done it but a friend of mine is a big supercab fan who has set cabs on different frames and he says it takes quiet a bit of fabricating because the frames are different. but the front should be the same

The Rear Cab Mounts for the Super Cab are Farther back on the Frame then a Reg. cab. Most have a hard time trying to under stand this, The easiest way to see it is by placing a reg. and a super cab side-by-side and look where the rear cab bolts are.
