Howdy y'all.
I'm John aka wardogjohn. I finally bought a truck again after loosing my last baby with a lot of other stuff in my divorce. It's a 2001 F350 7.3L. And let me tell you she is a beauty. Already love her to death. The alternator went out a few days ago and it kept going on battery for almost 200m. Oh it was in the middle of Montana, otherwise I wouldn't have found out otherwise. Anyhow here some more about myself. I'm an Army veteran, 29, was working in the oilfields for a few months before starting to drive big rigs. Had an an f150 which I lost when my exwife divorced me behind my back. Back in january I was finally able to buy another truck. I was looking for a 7.3L because I put a lot of miles on it and I don't wanna deal with the 6.0 and 6.3. I know they can be beasts once you invest some money and work into it. So no hard feelings. Anyhow while I am one hell of a warrior I'm not too much of a mechanic, at least nit compared to some of you guys on here. So I was refered to this site because it's got some issues. Nothing bad but stuff I wanna take care of. One being a constant oil leak. Would love to meet some people and attend some meets. Maybe host a grilling party in my backyard. Besides driving my truck my hobbies are fishing, hunting, shooting, woodwork, camping, hiking and my dogs.
