Hello All

I received a message from BIGKEN that I have been accepted into the NE chapter. FWIW, as far as the February get together is concerned, my vote is for the B-Ball Hall of Fame. It's a place I've driven by 100's of times and never stopped. Everytime I drive by I say to myself "I've got to go there", now there is a good reason. And with adult entertainment venues and beverages close by...

Welcome.
Glad to see you here.

I probably won't make it the BB Hall of Fame but a meet there would be a good excuse to go.
All in all there is a great group of guys here. Everyone's just 20 feet tall due to all the leg pulling.

Welcome JCHall from Mystic, I am from Westerly and been to the BB Hall of Fame. Sort of boring after driving all that way just to see just that alone. If you can take in an upstate NewYork vinyard and maybe West Point, it all adds up to a another good weekend out.

I should have said I lived here all my life and only visted the Mystic Seaport once. Even though my grandparents' old home was disassembled and used in constructing the tavern there, it never seemed like it was a big attraction. You know what I mean? Like the BaseBall Hall of Fame. We already know what we are going to see.

You know you go somewhere too much when you pull up to the speaker thingy and they say "its all set drive wround" even before you open your window.

Buzzman, I know what you mean about the Seaport, I grew up 1/4 mile away from the Seaport and I've only been there twice and that was with school trips.

Another thing I would like to see that I haven't and it's right around the corner is the Nautilus Museum, but I know that's another tough one for a NE group since it's down here on the coast, and it's not really centrally located.
