9005 bulb to replace fog bulb
I accidentally replaced the fog bulbs with high beam bulbs meant to go in my Grand Cherokee. The connectors work and the fitting works as well.
Can anyone think of a problem with leaving them in there? I was thinking the heat may be a bit too much for the smaller housing. I was looking to get better light anyway.

I think you're right, the heat would be the main concern. The stock bulbs get pretty hot.
Those infrared point and shoot temp gauges are pretty neat, good excuse to get one. I use one to check hub/tire temps when I stop for breaks.
