Has anyone seen or considered any type of roof modifications to their trucks such as various aftermarket installation of sunroof, panoramic sunroof, fixed panoramic glass roof, raised fiberglass roof, etc... I have seen several companies that make sunroofs both standard and panoramic, which makes me consider the possibility if a fixed glass panoramic roof. Also I have seen several excursions that have a raised fiberglass roof. If you have any input, insight, or information on any of these types of modifications please let me know as I am very interested but have found only limited sources online. Thank you.
How so do you mean? The limo companies already cut out the whole roof and use a fiberglass raised roof which would have no added support to the structural integrity of the vehicle. Therefore I can only imagine that the impact of cutting the roof for an addition of a sunroof, no mater how large, would only result in a lesser overall loss of rigidity than I could imagine that of a raised fiberglass roof.
Found a company located here in Florida that does the raised roof modifications, they said that they offer 3", 6", and 9" fiberglass raises. Hopefully will be receiving photos from them soon that they said they could email.
so does mine .. i believe they all do lol.. but even when mine was in arizona in 120* summer heat it still took a while to cool it down ( one reason why i would just let it idle with the AC on and the truck locked) the roof would still get warm and transfer heat for the first hour of driving it ... now imagine it with a window up there lol ... oye..... ( a reason why i moved back to the PNW lol )
i would love to have two small sunroofs (with the sliding cover) one over each front seat. i really like sunroofs but dont want to lose my overhead console and i dont want anything large to impact roof structural strength. chances are i will never get anything like that done though its too much risk for my results.

This would be the only thing I would consider, one small one over each front seat
