Is there any one out there that would know what was the factory pinstripe looked like and what years they where done .
I found a article once that stated ford quit striping COE's in 43 but my truck is a 47 with what seams to be factory striping.
I have been pinstriping for over 30 years . This looks factory old school. And yes it could been done after it left ford assembly line but it was a farm grain truck not normally a show piece.
My 47 COE has factory pinstriping. I'm the second owner and when I got the truck in 1974 from the original owner (a farm 8 miles from me) it had remnants of the factory pinstriping. Here's what it looked like before it was restored:

The guy that did the body work and new paint job didn't do a great pinstriping job, but it does look a lot better than it used to.
Knowing the original owner, I'm certain that they wouldn't have added pinstriping. Just look at the condition of the truck before restoration.
As for what years had factory pinstripes, I couldn't say.
