This will be my first attempt at a resurrection of an older vehicle. I'm hoping this forum will be of much help through the long process. I'm sure I will have plenty of rookie questions that many would think are common knowledge.

Welcome to the forum. Ask away. We do like pictures.
Yes, 49 F6 with the flathead 8. It's in ok shape. I'm still trying to figure out the posting pictures thing. I tried to post 2 with the start to my thread with no luck. Any tips? I tried the copy/paste thing. Trying this on an iPhone.
Thanks for the welcome. I know nothing about these trucks. That's how I found this forum. Only 30k miles on it. Hasn't been in the road since the early 70's.
I post photos from my I pad and I phone. I had to put a app called photobucket
I started to up load the photos to that then copy it and paste it here.
I will make a video and post it here in a little bit
This is my new 1950 F5 I picked up on Friday .
Welcome to FTE! Can't wait to see pictures of your new truck.
You have to either be a supporter or put your pictures up on the internet (I use photobucket). Then you can link to the pictures from there.
No question is a dumb question, it's better to ask a question even I know the answer to than not ask it and end up with a problem.
The search feature on this site can be very helpful too.

You guys are awesome so far and I haven't even began with questions😀. I'm hoping to make her beautiful then just use it for some fun slow drives. We live in western oregon so it will fit right in with all the farm vehicles but look better. My 11 year old son talked me into this project so it will be a great father/son project as well. I'm excited for this and haven't even got her home yet.
Add my welcome too. Glad to have you, and glad to have another big truck being saved. I see from your profile that you live in Oregon. You might go into your user profile and add your location to the info that posts with your comments. It'd help guys know if they are close or far, and might help with referrals for parts and service. Stu

Welcome to FTE, and one of the most active forums. The guys in this forum are really great and will be a ton of help as you proceed with your project.

Welcome to FTE!
Looks like a fairly solid truck. Can't see the rear wheels on the truck, but if they have the same rims as the ones leaned against the truck, you will be wanting to look for some replacement rims, as those are widowmakers.
