2011 f350 crew cab and parking garages

Parking garages in my area are 7 ft tall.. That said those with a stock height 2011 f350 crew cab do you fit in the parking garages? City parking garages im talking about ,not home.I know truck is under 7 ft but im worried about traveling through the garage when turning and climbing higher if the truck will scrape at any point.Truck fits with room to spare in my 7ft hone garage but its a straight flat shot.

Ive had it for almost two yrs but never had to park in a city parking garage and im going to need to soon..

I'm not stock height or an F-350, but I've run into this many times. I don't fit in most. All I can say is measure, measure, measure and be certain of your height. Take it really slow and you should be fine if you are under the stated height.

I think this garage was 7' my wife took my son to the doctors and the bar wouldnt raise because the truck was to big so the attendant raised it manually, and didnt charge her.

Parking

My truck is crew cab, long bed that turns like a barge. I will not use parking garages because of the space required to turn. The last one I tried the truck could not make the turn and I dented my truck bed. The parking garages in San Diego are tight on turning. So don't just think about the Height but how tight the inside will be.

I'm fine in a 7' garage, but still makes me nervous. I feel like I want to duck. Or worse yet get wedged in. boy would that be terrible. Luckily the the radio antenna is the highest thing on my truck and acts as a warning. typically it will hit the 7' warning sign at the garage, but nothing else on my truck does. I definitely will not enter a garage less than 7'.

I'm guilty of not paying attention to the parking garages I've fit in, but my truck's lifted approx. 2", OP, if that helps. I can only assume they're "standard" 7' or 6-11".....

I find it's not that "***-puckering", as others have mentioned, the antenna scrapes pretty regularly, and that's about it.

I'm not that nervous about the turn radius with that grille guard on the front to take any oops moments

And the backup beeper and camera make parking a breeze. You should be fine

Don't trust parking garages. I park at the airport regularly and went under a 6'11 sign only to crunch the roof. The antenna does provide you a warning, the ball at the end is gone on mine from striking the parking garage so much. I don't trust garages especially downtown. I'd walk or take a cab.

How do you like those lights compared to stock? I hate my stock setup.

hahaha. I am not a big fan of these from Recon. however, I am thinking that Savage is happier with the mod he did to his lights. You can ask him. I need to know how to mod the lights myself too.

If you are going into a regular parking spot, drive your car first and measure it...

Then if it is under the height be sure and go easy a 'bounce' would rebound pretty hard off a concrete or steel overhead support !!!

Even with the 250, I don't trust anything under 7'2 due to the shell on the back. The first time I took mine to the airport (I fly for work regularly), I called the Port of Portland and asked about the height, which is 8'2.

I had to park in a parking garage once.... I called ahead to get the clearance, forget what it was now but I thought I was OK. As I drove in I watched the roof while leaning out the window and didn't think there was an issue. When I got home there were scrapes on the bumps on top of the roof.

I'll never do that again.
