The PA Chapter's "Tom T. Turkey" November 2013 Chat and B/S Thread
My gosh - the year's about over. Time has flown by.
Guys, gals...gonna get serious for just a second. We've all had our ups and downs this year, but we all have reasons to be thankful. November's always been considered a time for that with the official Thanksgiving holiday, but there's no harm in being thankful every day for where we are and what we have. It's not always easy, but it's worth it. Also, as we approach the holiday season, it's worth saying that there are a lot of people out there struggling along - if it's in your power to do so, consider helping out somehow this season.
/end PSA.
October was a great month - a lot of talking going on, so hopefully we can keep that going! Chat on!
Still waiting on the Expy to come back from the shop - hopefully today. Gonna do front brakes, the horn, and begin detailed frame painting on the truck this weekend, unless the Expy comes back. Then I'll change game plans lol
Going slow. They're trying hard to not snap anything off in the head to avoid drilling, so it's taking a bit. But good otherwise. He's also gotta look at the rough idle issue too yet.
Yeah that's why they're soaking them and working slow. He doesn't want to drill if he doesn't have to so there isn't a risk of hitting a water jacket and ending up replacing a head.
Although....could do some naughty things if that had to happen....lol
