F250 rear end help

I don't know if I'm in the right place so I will ask. I am working on my 2001 f250 super duty 4x4. I thought it was a bad caliper but turned out to be the rear wheel hub bearings. My question is where to find a hub assembly. I would normally replace the bearings but the hub is eat up too bad to emery cloth it. The only good thing about it is that the axel spindle is good and not eat up too bad. Any help would be appreaciated

Are you trying to go new parts or used?... just so my help isn't in vain

Also, can you get numbers off the rear tag? on top right of the "pumpkin" or rear cover there should be a metal tag.

I almost always buy them new from the dealer just so I don't have to replace the races myself. They can be such a pain to do and to me, they've always been worth the extra cost because of it.

I can get more info on used too but I would need at least a zip code in order to find already pulled ones in your area

I was just trying to find pricing on some after market places too I commonly use if I the time to wait on shipping, but no mention of them... I've gotten similar assemblies for duallies on them. Quite surprised!

wow! Again, I am baffled... nothing listed near you... as least already pulled. Closest to you was Dixie Salvage (800-226-7077) in Old Town almost 200miles away or Rusty Acres Automotive (800-782-4885) in Jacksonville over 250 miles away...

I don't know why it's such an issue!? SMH
I guess the only thing I can offer is make sure you have that tag# when you go order from the dealer then. The thing with Fords is you can't go by their VIN #'s when looking up parts for their driveline (mostly talkings about rears but not uncommon to include transmissions). Ford has many different rears and ratios they use. Sometimes the door tag that shows the "axle" ID helps but more so when looking in a salvage yard.

I'm sorry, and I feel I helped you so little on this matter... and if you or the dealer needs more help in deciphering tag # feel free to ask
