MINI RIG for f350

I met a guy at the gas station last week before I broke down, who had a 6.0l.
I was telling him my problems and he said. he is waiting for his engine to die too, but he was changing it to a International Engine (i know the 6.0 was made by International but this one is different) and it cost around 3000 and he said its a new trend and it turns the truck into a mini rig. He said to look it up online and I did, but still unable to find anything.

Does anyone know what he was talking about. He said it was almost a straight swap with some tranny adjustments.

A good $3k engine swap for the 6.0 would spread like wildfire, so I'm gonna go with probably not. Out of curiosity, where is this gas station?

A huge lift kit has a high correlation with . Did he have stacks or at least a ridiculously huge exhaust?

It probably could be done

It would be totally Custom Job

3k$$$ is Out of the Picture

Cooling hose changes
wire harness Changes
Power Steering changes
PCM Relocate
Fuel Line Mods

That's just a Start and In addition to the Engine

Might need mods for trans hookup so Rear Cover??

Moter Mounts

However, I do have a "chip" that will give you 250 HP and 45 MPG towing. It won't affect reliability of engine either. It only cost $150 and it's plug and play 5 minute install.

I took my truck into dealership, cause i kept on blowing my ipr's screen and ipr itself, they said it was full of contaminates so they took it down to the oil cooler cleaned out all the gunk. after they put it back together they noticed a to on blow by so they retested and found out cylinder #8 was at about 50%. Funny thing is there was no noticeable blow by before i brought it in.

Did they change the Screen under the Oil Cooler??

Do you have Correct Oil Filter and Correct CAP???

The After Market Oil Filter companys have Made a HUGE MESS of the OIL Filters and Caps

The wrong Filter Cap combo will let unfiltered oil into system and in turn Keep Killen the IPR

Now for the BlowBy
Do you know how they came to this conclusion??

You have 2 threads???

maybe you already answered in other thread

It just sounds Fishy to me Since there was No Blow by before it went in or atleast I would think you would have noticed 50% Blow by

Yeah I have always used OEM oil and gas filters which are brand new.

They also change the screen for the oil cooler, cause the last one was torn to to pieces.

Yeah I'm not sure if I had severe blow by before or not, but you know as a 6.0 owner we pay a lot attention to everything our trucks do.

I think I found a tech. he is a ex ford tech and he was recommended by another 6.0l guy. he said he will check everything out.

Thanks
