I have been working on my trucks roof and have been putting off working this panel for a long time. I looked bad. but it has cleaned up pretty well. i think it grew an inch taller but worked out well. not as hard as I would have thought.
When we were around 13-14 one of my cousins walked on the roof and hood of mine. (before it was mine)
When I was 16 I installed a sun roof. Hey, it was the 70s, everyone was doing it. I later tore the sun roof off on a garage door.
I worked on the roof for a week strait and couldn't repair all the damage. The cab had other problems, such as the hole someone cut in the dash to install a radio. (again, before it was mine) I ended up splitting the cab and replacing the entire top with that of a donor cab.
I'm glad you were able to work yours out. Splitting the cab ended up being a pretty extreme move for someone with my meager body skills.
BTW, we on FTE love pictures. Lots and lots of pictures.
