well, Josh's 97 cc 2504x has been around for almost 9 years I think..
While we have always tried to take good care of the ol gal children and family and the weather have taken their toll on the tit as we call her.
SO since he is coming to rre also and we had needed to do some work long overdue here are just a few pics to prove that IM NOT as lazy as Bill says lol
we started by removing EVERYTHING but the door panels and headliner
and front and rear glass
and cut the whole exh system off now she is breathing through a round dp and 4" kicked out before the tire!

I completely overhauled the front seats adding some new foam and adding 3 springs per seat that the factory cheaped out on.
We stripped to bare metal the whole roof as it had been repainted poorly by prior ownership and was loosing its clearcoat. the front windshield and rear glass had been leaking for at least 5 yrs so we got a good salvage front and solid rear glass and new seal. The front window opening was showing some good surface rust so we blasted,ground,stripper wheeled till we were brown in the face.
Then I drove it to work and it got a nice good 2 coats of ppg dp epoxy primer
and two coats of white and two of high solids deltrom clear for a good long life
love that nice clean flat rear window

That back wheel won't stay shiny long. That looks exactly like my exhaust. I'm probably smoking more though. I think I'm gonna run mine on back and out in the stock location. You guys did a lot of work in a short time! The truck looks great!

and today though the corner lights were misshipped and we reused for now the stockers the front end got a little love

he did a little black on the grille inserts and she is spruced up and ready for rre and a few more years of faithful service to their family!
it feels great to see Josh with that great big grin when he is driving it!

Give me a link to where you guys got those lights! I just just put some from the latest parts truck in mine this evening. They were more clear than my old yellow looking ones, but I want some of those like you guys have!

I almost forgot...cleaning and scuffing the bed for a diy bedliner..looks nice now too!!

I gave Bill the item number from my purchase on ebay a couple lines above your post if you are interested in those exact ones. They are really nice, but the co sent me two smoked turn signal lenses. I will get those swapped out ASAP!! Just FYI!

Looking forward to it as well and it is my baby and I definitely couldn't have done it with out my bro helping!! Going to buy a set of sylvania silver star ultra bulbs tonight. I got one bulb that is burnt out... Very exciting!
