Okay,HPOP Replaced, IPR Replaced, Truck didnt want to start without a little help of starting Fluid, Then didnt want to idle. Now it will start after turning over a good little while, and thats giving it throttle. I unplugged the ICP, and then tried starting and it started quite easily, but was chugging and had a very rough idle. On the start up I noticed that I only was getting smoke from the passenger side or right bank on start up.
How can you tell which side of the motor is sending white smoke out the exhaust?
How much has it been driven since all the change? You've got to work the air out of the oil rails in the head before it will start up like normal again. Smoke and rough idle are fairly normal after opening up the HPO system.
I posted another new thread about the idm. We did a buzz test on the injectors and found one bad, as a matter of fact it was injector 1 . After replacing it the issue still wasnt fixed. Thats when we threw on another idm just for the heck of it. That fixed it right up
