Well This past week. I went ahead and installed my 4" BDS all Spring lift. Overall I feel the New Springs and Shocks where very high quality. The truck has a great stance "minus the small factory wheels and tires". I went ahead and upgraded to dual Fox shocks for the front, Fox shocks for the rear, and Dual Fox steering stablilzer. It probably took me between 11 and 13 hrs to complete. Ofcourse that includes running to the store and picking up bolts and other odds and ends. I consider myself mechanical. This job was extremely easy but very time consuming. And the springs are heavy to work with. Scale of 1 to 10. 10 being hard I give it a 4, Only because of the heavy springs.
A Few of things that I ran into while the install.
The instructions are generic. You can get the job done with them but you have to be semi mechanical.
The rear U bolts they sent where too long with the new Springs.
The shop I purchased with kit from hooked me up with a new set of U bolts.
A heat gun and an impact are your friend when dealing with locktight
1 pair of jack stands and 2 floor jacks make the job a lot easier
You better get someone to help you manipulate the new springs into place "this is probably the only time I needed help. Momma was the chosen one! LOL"
I had to drill out the lower factory front shock mounts for the new bolts.
I had to trim inner fender well only on the drivers side for the Dual shocks
I had to slightly grind the rear U bolt mount center hole, so that the new spring pack bolt would slide into the hole.
The Front Dual Stabilzer kit did not have all the neccesary hardware. I had to run to my local hardware and pick up some nuts and bolts.
Thats was pretty much it. I will post some pics sometime this week. Overall looks like it lifted the truck ~ 5" I am guessing it will settle a bit but that was compared to some semi worn springs so maybe not.

It's not going to settle. Why the super duper double steering stabilizers? I know they are visible but...........
ok so quick q&a
I installed procomp 4" springs on the front of my X. When I ordered them they were just supposed to level the truck but what I got were 2" lift springs for F250 Which adds up to 4" in on the X. So now the front is way taller than the back. Heres the question. Shouldnt I just b able to install F250 factory blocks on the rear and level it out? My X has 3" blocks on it now. how tall are the blocks from an f250?
I put the dual stabilizers just for show as stated above. I added pics to my album on here. I am not sure how to put them on this thread. The truck is dirty still so I have not cleaned everything up. Too hot outside right now. Its been close to 100 everyday lately. Just waiting to get my wheels and tires to make her look better... Thanks for looking..
Straight axles don't have bump steer. I would take those things off and fix the front end. Also, did you ask them or did they tell you?
since you like bombing every thread that mentions steering stabs, care to explain how a SFA cannot have bump steer? Feel free to start a new thread, to prevent hijacking this one any further.
