I like the fuel door a lot Marty, drop by any time, Ill have a fender waiting,,hehe
The door was easy, I bought a flanging tool from Harbor freight it sets an offset in the metal just thick enough to overlap the metal about 3/8" flush on the surface. Spot weld the two together. Seam seal the back side to keep out the water and smooth with a skim coat of bondo.- - - -
prest-o change-o part done!
I cut the door out of a chev truck I also did the back of the cab the same way.
I posted a couple more photos of the fuel door install. total time to get to the pre bondo stage 3 hours.

Finally a bit more progress. I got a bit further but the photos are in the camera. I am down to building the frame box panels from the rear cross member to the coil over mount. The rear end and suspension modifications are coming to a close.
after a long siege a photo or two from my album ED
BOX 1 raw metal work done now to fabrication work and seal coat. I don't have the patience for filler and paint. The paint work on the box was finished by a good friend in late 2014 / early 2015. I had to take time with my wife till mid September of 2015. I have not had the heart to work on the truck for a long time. I plan to get with it this year.
the finish body work is not my work just the fab
