I have a set of Gabriel shocks off my 2000 Expo, part numbers are 61614 rear, 61611 front and they cost me $25 each. They are less then a year old but they're just too stiff of a ride. I went with the Monroe's and now the wife is thanking me for the smoother ride.
Anyways, these are free for local pick up in Anaheim if you need shocks now. I had to keep the hardware because Rock Auto sent me the wrong size rubbers and washers, so use your existing parts. The Gabriel's are not as smooth of a ride as the Monroe's, but they're free.
