'05 Expedition front end growling noise
Hi guys, I'm new here and I've been having some problems with my wife's Expedition. There is a growling noise that is coming from the front end somewhere and I am stumped. The noise doesn't start until after 25-30 mph and then gets louder and higher pitched as speed increases and also if you turn the wheel to the right the noise stops. A mechanic friend told me it was a hub assembly, so a month later I have replaced both hub assemblies and both CV axles, also I just bought new tires yesterday because the old ones were wore down, trying to eliminate the noise with no luck. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
