Last night after work i came home and installed my Titan tank. After reviewing the video, it was really a easy.
I bought a 2012 F350 in July.
I have to say I am relatively new to the forum but wow what a resource. I was a little worried about being able to figure out getting the clips off the fuel lines on the top of the sender but that was not difficult. As it turns out the biggest challenge was on the re install, my filler hose seamed to be about two inches short of where it needed to be. I ended up loosening up the filler hose pipe where it attached to the quarter panel, and was able to get a clamp on it.
I ended up doing a double clamp for safety.
The best part, I then took it to my ford dealer and asked that they reprogram the tank setting, just as the service rep was starting to look a little foggy eyed I handed him the check list from this forum and we were on our way.
While they were at it I had him reset my TPM's, Info i also found on this forum and within the hr i was all set on on my way.
I would say about 4 hrs or more. I was taking my time. It can be a one man job, but when you are installing the new tank, it is helpful to have a helper when you are trying to install the tank straps.
They provid two shims per strap, I ended up using one shim per strap to tighten. I have a 4wd, I only elevated the rear axel on jack stands and ad the room I needed.
