325 60R 20's
I have read in several threads that some are running 325 60 R20 on their stock 8" rims, some on stock suspension , some with levelling kits . I was looking for feedback, pictures would be nice too, on how much these tires stick out past the fenders if any, and do they rub at all. Thanks in advance. The reason I am asking, is so I can make the right decision on what offset to run on aftermarket wheels.

I'm thinking about getting the 325 60R 18's. And 18 inch wheels, dumping the 20's. The 18 inch tires seem to be about $100 less than the 20's and are still about a 35 inch tire. I plan on topping it off with a 4 inch Rancho Lift.

They do work on the stock 20's with stock suspension. I ran that way for a while. I can't remember if they stuck out past the fenders but I don't think so. The do rub on the sontrol arms at full lock tho, on both sides. Turning radius is reduced slightly.
But you need to be very careful what offset you go... Stock is +40mm. I went to -12mm and tried it on stock suspension and it did not work. The tires hit the bumper bracket in the front and the sheet metal in the back. I could not turn enough to get out of my driveway. I did make it work by cutting the bumper bracket off (pic below) and taking a big hammer to the sheet metal at the back of the wheel well. That combo stick out about 2" past the fenders. I would not recommend it without at least a 4" lift.

Darren, thanks for the info. I just ordered the wheels pictured above. They a 20 x 9 with + 12 offset. My F350 had a Rev Tek levelling kit installed after I picked it up from the dealer. 3 1/2" Up in the front, and 1" more in the rear. I just want to get the right tires so they stick out of the fenders no more that 1". Im almost set on the Toyo MT2 35 x12.50 x 20. By the way, thanks for the demo on the Hertz system. My truck goes in next Tuesday for the complete system. i will let you know how that turns out.

Just wanted to add, the wheels will be going in for paint as soon as I get them. The spokes will be painted platinum white tricoat to match my truck. I will post a picture when they r done!

I understand that the stock offset for the 20 inch wheels are +40mm, can anyone tell me what the stock 20 inch wheel backspacing is? Thanks

They are related. The wheel is 8" wide and has a positive offset of 40mm (1.6") so the backspacing would be approx 5.6". BUT that is a bit off as per the chart below because the wheel width is ID and the backspace is measured from the OD. From the chart would be a bit over 6"....

Then two 10" ES 250 subs are going behind the back seat, got a Hertz HDP1 to drive the subs. Both Amps are getting mounted behind the rear seat.
For the sound processor I went with the Audison Bit 1. The guys at JB's north were pretty good to deal with. They are gonna do the install, and mount the remote for the bit 1 in the headliner just below the sunroof. They are also gonna give all four doors the dynamat treatment. It goes in next Tuesday and they said 3 days to install. i post pictures when its done.

I think I forgot to tell you, the reason we went with a HDP 4 for the subs was that the HDP1 is about 4" longer and would not fit under the back seat where we wanted to put it.
