Hey guys, I'm new to this board. I got a '94 bronco white 5.8L EAOD,(heavy duty towing tranny), lmited slip, 3:73 gears, 4" lift with 33's. A '82 bronco with lots of futrue plans, 10" suspension, 2" body, 460BB with a 6-71 blower, and 39.5's. I also got a '65 stang that is being built right now, with a 5.0L but bored and stroked to a 347 and putting 475 to the rear wheels, but a 150 shot of nitrus on top of that. I also got my bike and '01 yellow suzuki tl1000r, with a few performance mods.
I just wanted to interduce myself and try to meet some people that also love the fullsize bronco.
I am having a issue tho, my 94 is getting about 10-12 MPG, is that fairly normal, i thought it would do better with the fuel injection.
Welcome,
Nice set of toys! Yeah,I'd say that's about the norm. Maybe a little more on the hi-way(I get about 13-15).'91 XLT,3" SUSP.Lift,
33x12.5 B.F.G.'s.
Ok, i guess i thought it would be better because, one of my buddies is running a '78 bronco with a 429 cobra jet, and cam, and he is getting 15-18.
but anyways, anyone know of a good place to get billet grills for the '94, and i am also looking for window sheilds.
yo,
Have you recalibrated the speedometer yet?
We had a 5 mph error when changing to 32's from 235's on the 96. Bigger dia tires also affects the odometer and transmission shift points on our E4OD Broncos.
We get at berst 15.5 mpg in spring/fall w/out a/c running on rural highways @ 55 mph. Worse is 13 mpg in winter or big city trips.
Nope, i havn't recalibrated anything yet, but it seems to shift fine. My biggest problem is that i havn't even been able to drive my '94 yet. I bought it in jan. and then got deployed to kuwait in feb. then now i am in iraq, and it is still sitting at home with my parents, but my dad drives it, and he usted to be a mechanic, so i'm sure if it was shifting poorly then he'd let me know. But what are the specs to the speedometer, and tanny.
