Went to go and start my truck this morning and noticed after it was running that it sounded like a misfire, then i seen the smoke... I shut the truck down and lifted the hood and seen that somehow i had a high pressure fuel injector supply line on the Lh side break off. The line that goes from the fuel rail to the injector port on the valve cover (theres 4 of them on a side). Was wondering if anyone else has had problems with this issue? There doesnt seem to be an o-ring or anything on them, they are just pressed over and tighten down.

Have you had it looked at by the dealer yet? It should be covered by the warranty, right? Good luck.
Now that's a failure that I've never heard of before. There are no o-rings used in these connections, and if the are like the 6.4L hardware they are one time use items and must be replaced if loosened.
Now for safety's sake, get this thing towed. And don't even think about trying to run the engine with any body part anywhere near the engine. Hydraulic injection injuries happen every day and they can be deadly!
Well got it cleaned up and decided to tow it to the dealership because of it being covered by the warrenty still. I bet I lost serveral gallons of fuel in just a matter of seconds! The line just ruptured from what i can tell, the fittings seemed to be just fine. I checked the rest of the injector lines and they are looking good... Its puzzling that it just "cracked" basically. So i have the part on order so ford is picking up the tab for 6 hours of labor and $170 injector supply line hose, and the tow.

Thanks for the follow up. Glad you are getting taken care of.
