Since the wanted/selling thread is for ads I started this thread.
I`ll try to get pictures soon. In the mean time I`ll have a look to see how I swapped the 75 F100 rear springs into my 53 M100. I remember drilling out the rivets and bolting in the newer spring hangers, I don`t think there was much more to it.
As I remember it, it looks the same except that the shackles don't wrap under the frame rails like the stock ones do. It did give a little bit of ride height adjustment (maybe 1" or so, not much). Now that I think on it, might be a good idea to check to see if we used grade 8 bolts for those shackles. I don't remember
If he wants a cheap way to improve the ride and stance an old skool way is to take your spring pack apart. Keep the two shortest leaves and then remove every second leaf and put the stack back together. Good idea to do the bushings while the pack is out. It'll soften the ride and lower the back end about 2"
I like the extra pivot points, I think it was called something like knee action and agree that fewer springs will improve the ride. I don`t know exactly what my ride will be like but I`m willing to bet that it`ll be alot better than the original.

My original's are toast, half of the leaves are broken on the pass side. On the front I used a reversed eye main leaf and removed a couple more. With the road's here it should look and ride fine. Thanks guy's
