Can the GEM module cause no juice to the coil pack? I have checked every fuse and relay on the truck! PLUS changed the ECM (or main computer) at the RH kick panel. Any ideas or comments will be greatly appreciated.
Do you have any codes? No power means power isn't getting from the ECU to the coil. Look for a broken wire/bad connector. Look for a bad wire at the ECU plug also. Test thru the circuit for the open spot. Your key turns on the relay. Swap out the relay with a good one. Relay turns on the ECU and so forth.
Thanks PapaTiger,
The problem was a bad conn at the plug on firewall by the top RH side of engine. I went over and posted on the 97 up section and got a lot of advice. I had checked every fuse and relay multiple times and had it boiled down to the hot wire between the relay and coil pack. But didn't know it's route. Turns out you were right also! Lot of great folks on here. Thanks
