the shrink wrap was the stupidest thing I have ever seen. If anything, that made it worse flapping in the breeze, he probably would have made it if he had not done that!
I watched that episode last night and it frustrated the heck out of me. First of all, Adam said it was a Bio-diesel model but had a 35gal fuel tank. I know something was up the moment he said it had a 35gal tank. Gassers have 35, diesel has 26.
Then every time they showed the truck driving by, they dubbed the engine sound of a Mack Truck. The 6.7L doesn't sound anything like a Mack, much less the 6.2L. Also, how was he only getting 9.5mpg? My truck with a lift and 35" tires going 80mph gets around 13mpg....and they were driving much slower than that.
I usually like watching Top Gear, but I will now be very skeptic from here forward....never know how much info they provide will be true.
It was Bio-Fuel, not bio-diesel. He never once says Diesel. He says Bio-Gas and mentions "Natural Gas" several times, and even uses the words "Compressed gas" Its a 6.2L and I don't know what TV you have but when I watched it the sounds were that of a gasoline 6.2L V8.
