98 Ford F150 Extended Cab Short Box 4x4 - Lift/Tires
^^^BTT^^^
Comon, I know there are some "hardcore" Ford guys here that are into lifts and stuff.
What can I do to get a response here?
Also looking for someone who has the semi-hidden warn winch setup? I'm looking to buy a winch plate for my truck and I want to know how others like it. I have a HS9500I already. I just need the winch plate to install the winch.

I guess no one in this forum has any good answers for you
I'll try posting your question in the 4x4 and off road forum which is a ways further down on the main forum page. Hopefully you'll get some answers there

I've been on Fabtechs site and they don't advertise anything under a 4" lift. I don't want to go that high and put too large a tire under my truck. It's my DD and I don't need to over consume fuel. I'm breaking 14 MPG now and that is real good compared to my former DD.
Really looking for a 2.5 ish lift non body lift or block lift. I do prefer better springs, longer control arms etc. Not sure that @ 2.5" I need longer control arms or torsion arms for the IFS. I'm a Jeep builder, I know solid axles. Sorry for my IFS ignorance...
Thanks for your reply. I may have to just call them to find out if they have what I want...

Fabtech does make a 2.5 kit for your truck. It is not on their website so call them. I had this kit on my 00' 150 (until I put on the 8" lift). It is called a leveling kit or something. You get new a arms, springs and I believe, shocks.

I think you would be interested in checking out www.150online.com under the suspension forum. There is an unlimited amount of info on the topic. I have a 98 F-150 4x4 flareside with 33's. I was interested in a 5" superlift for my truck, but $2200 cdn is a little steep. A 2.5" lift would be hard. Cranking the torsions will give you 2" but stress' the bars. I'm sure you could get a 2.5" body though.
