40-47 tread width

What is the tread width on the 40-47 1/2 ton trucks?
I/m building an old school gasser & am researching what front axles would fit. I've looked all over the internet & can't find the specs.

5 Star, thank for for the help. That would give me 2" extra on each side which would be more stable with skinnies on the front!

5 star, what are the proper years I'm looking for?
Is it 41-47 for this tread depth?
I'm looking for parallel springs not transverse.
I put 40-47 because I couldn't remember what year went to the 60" front width.
Was there other years with this tread width in the front with a straight axle?

Tread Width

I believe 42 was the first year for the parallel springs, maybe 41 but not sure on the 41.

The dimensions I gave you are for the 42-47, hope that helps you.
