On one hand, I really see the pilots perspective. I mean any incident could turn badly quick in such a small space like an airplane, specially in mid air.
On the other hand, if the kid was starting to calm down, maybe there really wasnt an issue.
I am burying my son Kenny tomorrow at 10 :30 am .. I would love to hear him cry and fuss ....anytime ..anywhere ..screw Alaska air ..kids are not terrorists...they cry or fuss because they are scared or frightened ..nothing more ..remember common sense ?? it's a kid dammit ..noise to some ...a wonderfull sound when you will never hear it again ..
I'm sorry to hear your loss, but you're a long way from a grief counsilour. For a loss like that I seriously suggest professional help, I saw a co-worker go downhill too proud to get help. I'm not saying to be a Ahole but seriously I had a co-worker go from being a successful shop foreman to a guy who couldn't handle being a simple delivery driver (as i am) get help RIGHT NOW!
but just saying the rest off us don't need to hear your offspring fuss

Reason: spelling
I apologize for my comment ..but a kid is not a threat to the safety of the plane ..a drunk is ..and they serve booze on a plane ..in my book the pilot is a twit..and I can fly any other airline if that is how they treat kids and family's ..
