i have a '64 f100 that i need a front/rear transmission seal and rear boot for. the casting # on the throwout bearing sleeve (?) is C3TR-7050-B. the casting # on the transmission body is C3AR 7006 - E. there is also 2M27 on the body. it is a 3-speed manual. also, do you know where i can locate the throwout bearing sleeve, i'd like to get another one in good shape. i had a catastrophic clutch failure before i began my overall rebuild project, and the sleeve that the throwout bearing rides on broke off of the collar that bolts to the transmission body. i had someone weld it, but i would feel more comfortable using something that has stayed in one piece.
thank you,
donnie
After looking all of this up...the throwout brg hub and bearing depends on which engine you have...
The trans seals I looked up are ASSUMING you have the Ford 3.03 light duty transmission...If theres any kind of tag or plate on the case or possibly painted markings on the case which was done originally as well...
cs65,
the engine is a 292. the warranty plate lists the transmission as 'D', and the plate on the side of the transmission says 'HEF G 029903'.
thanks for the help
Im glad I asked for both the warranty code as well as trans markings...the truck originally had a T89 Warner trans in it which has been swapped out for a Ford L/D 3.03 trans from a 63 F100/250 with a 292...among other less common rigs.
The Parts are all available NOS too...the main enchilada...the throwout bearing hub B3TZ7561A as well as the extension housing oil seal A2TZE052A of which 1 each can be found at Dotts Motor Co in Pa...they have the VERY last Extension housing seal as well as 1 throwout bearing hub...which as i see it would be the toughest to find..Their number is 814-765-9681
if you want info on the other gaskets/seals, post your email addy and I will pass the info along...those i would think SHOULD BE easily attainable locally...but I can give you the sources i found with them etc...
Cs65,
Thanks again. My email is iridefast (@) live.com. if you take a look in my garage, you'll see a pic of the engine I've rebuilt. It's in the truck and ready to drive, except for the transmission.

The A2TZ-7052-A seal was replaced decades ago and is available from Ford and a gazillion autoparts stores as it fits myriad vehicles.
Misc. applications: 1963/86 Passenger Cars/Trucks/Bronco's & Econolines with Ford type 3.03 manual trans // 1964/87 F100/750 & 1978/87 Bronco New Process 435 4 speed // 1977/85 F100/150 & Passenger Cars w/RUG 4 speed SR O/D.
How many B3TZ-7561-A throwout bearing hubs would'ja like? I found 51 of the little charmers NOS and this part is also available from autoparts stores.
NumberDummy,
I suppose one throwout bearing hub would suffice. Where can i find one of these? I figured this would be a real bugger to find.
Thanks,
Donnie
