Sounds like an acorn being bounced around by the fan, but..
2007. Thought I had something being rattled by the fan blades. No matter what position the duct cotroller is in, (defrost, vent, floor AC, or heat), Truck rolling or in park, even engine off. Only goes quiet when turning the controller off.
Thought it was an acorn or somthing like that bouncing around hitting the fan blades, (fan stops, rattle stops). It goes away after a while and shows again.
Pulled the motor/fan assembly, hoping to find something. Nothing, nice and clean in there. Turned on the fan while removed from the housing, fan is quiet.
Install back in the housing, the "marble sound" is back. Anyone else have this?
