let me know what ya think,, the notes are kinda just for my thinking.
1) Cobra 29LTD Classic CB <O
></O
>I gotta’ have one, and Cobra 29 is one of the best.
2) Ford Floormats
3) New radio and speakers
4) Trailer Brake Controller<O
></O
>To run trailer brakes<O
></O
>5) Gauges <O
></O
>So I can keep an eye on the essentials. Like Tans Temp, Volts, Vacuum, Oil Temp, Trans Press<O
></O
>6) Fuzz Buster <O

>To catch the Fuzz, before the Fuzz catches ME<O

>Exterior Mods<O
></O
>1) 16"x8" Pacer Black Daytona Wheels and LT245/75R16 BFGoodrich Commercial T/A Tires<O
></O
>It has 31x10.50-15 tires on it now. This way I can have awesome black wheels that have red and blue stripes with tires that are Bullet-Proof, keep the same overall diameter and go 3/4" narrower to aid fuel mileage. <O
></O
>2) Receiver Hitch <O
></O
>I know I'll be towing, pulling, tugging, dragging, yanking and it would be nice to have a solid frame hitch instead of the bumper.
3) Tow Hooks<O
></O
>So I have a place to hook on with the front, for back pulling and recovery, have them bolted to the frame horns.<O
></O
>4) Rectangular Exhaust Tips<O
></O
>5) Window Visors<O
></O
>6) Classic Lund Sun-Visor<O
></O
>These things look great!<O
></O
>7) Mack Customs Front Bumper<O
></O
>The stock front bumper isn’t the strongest unit, so I’ll build one out of some big C-Channel. So I'll be able to smash into things, plow through things, push things, and generally have a mean looking, stronger than strong bumper<O
></O
>8) More Lights <O
></O
>Back up lights mounted IN the rear bumper, driving lights mounted in the grille, big 100 Watt 6" off-road lights behind the grille, cargo lights integrated into the headache rack, I'm gonna go with new halogen headlights too. The more the merrier as far as I'm concerned<O
></O
>9) Calvin Pissing On the Chevy bowtie<O
></O
>You know, the rear window sticker<O
></O
>10) Mack Customs Headache Rack<O
></O
>11) Tinted windows<O
></O
>To make it a little “Cooler”<O
></O
>12) Paint Job <O
></O
>Gloss White for the body, black on the bumpers, rack and mirrors<O
></O
>13) Ford Mudflaps<O
></O
>Nice heavy duty mounts so that they can be used for steps.

>Drivetrain Performance Mods
1) High Output 3G Alternator<O
></O
>3G refers to an alternator off a '90's ford, and I figure with everything on full-blast pulling a trailer at night I could potentially draw 100 amps, needless to say the stock 65 amp alternator just won't cut it. 3Gs put out double at 130 amps<O
></O
>2) Hooker Headers <O
></O
>So it breathes easier, resulting in more Power and Torque plus better mileage<O
></O
>3) Mack Customs 2-1/2” T.D. Exhaustâ <O
></O
>The pipes are only 2” now and I have to re-route it so I’ll build an all-new custom 2-1/2” system.<O
></O
>4) Thrush Welded Mufflers<O
></O
>When it comes to hot rod mufflers, Thrushtops the list for a bottom price. Ha-ha-ha this is gonna sound GOOD!<O
></O
>5) Exhaust Cutouts<O
></O
>Just so I can open it up to play race car and REALLY raise hell and have fun if I want to<O
></O
>6) Edelbrock Performer Intake Manifold<O
></O
>7) Edelbrock Performer 600 Carburetor<O
></O
>I've got one, sitting, just waiting for me.<O
></O
>It’s Edelbrock… need I say more?
8) High Performance 14" Air Filter<O
></O
>9) Cam<O
></O
>It's not a true a hot rod without a Cam, <O
></O
>10) High Performance AOD Transmission <O
></O
>By Swapping in this I’ll have a .67:1 OD and 4 gears. This should improve fuel mileage by around 15% with the gear change. Ill buy one and build it with a TCI Master Racing Overhaul Kit, Trans-go, and a tight converter<O
></O
>11) Transmission Cooler<O
></O
>Around here, everything needs a cooler, and it's essential to the life of the Tranny. Plus, I'm gonna be WORKINGit sometimes<O
></O
>12) 3.50 Rears<O
></O
>13) Detroit Locker<O
></O
>Cuz I'm gonna need all the traction I can get, Locked Traction<O
></O
>14) Power Brakes<O
></O
>I just need to add a vacuum booster, and possibly go with front discs, ill need a '73-'79 donor <O
></O
>15) Electric fans <O
></O
>Electric fans would free-up Horsepower, increase throttle response, increase mileage, and potentially cool better.<O
></O
><O
></O
><O
></O
><O
></O
>Miscellaneous Additions<O
></O
>1) Optima Red-Top<O
></O
>2) Low-Profile Toolbox<O
></O
>I think that I’ll probably need one to keep the Equipment in, cuz it doesn’t have much room in the cab.
3) Hood lock<O
></O
>I don’t want people being able to open it up
4) Horns<O
></O
>Calvary Charge or Dixie horns, Fire Truck horns, or just semi horns would work; I've got some electric boat horns that would be cool too<O
></O

i figure my total price will only be around the 3,000 range. and thats accounting for stuff i havent accounted for. so its gonna be a great truck for that money!
You said a high performance AOD. Thatll be close to 3 grand alone.
A set of good tires will run $600 or better.
Just a cam itself will be $300 if it doesnt require springs and a torque converter. But you did say a tighter TC later on. They can run $300 and up.
A mechanical locker is $500 and goes up from there with electric and air lockers.
A good set of gauges from Auto Meter goes for about $70 per gauge, not including shipping. 4 gauges = $280. A tach is a different story
Eddy Intake $300
Theres $2200 without the AOD... Not tryin to be an azz but I think youll have well over $3000 if you build it right
i know how much things CAN cost, but i get them alot cheaper than retail price.
and when i say a high performance trans, i mean that im going to build a trans...i built my 4r100 trans with HD cluthces, shift kit, and triple disc low stall billet converter for only $680 and my labor... no bull.
my wheels that i want for instance, $71 each. heres the link.
