Painted Dashboard
My dashboard is a tan color and the paint is flaking off. I can tell the original color is black and want to go back to original. Any ideas about how to get the tan off without damaging the surface? thanks

you could try getting 1000-1500 grit sandpaper and sanding it until you get down to the black. it will probably take a really long time and a good bit of sandpaper. when you're don you can spray some clear coat on it if you want it shine. that's what i would do, you may could try heavier sandpaper but the stuff i mentioned won't groove easily. there's my 2 cents!
