Fit in underground parking? (leveling kit & rear blocks)
quick dumb question
My wife has my truck out of town and is visiting a friend who said she can park in her spot underground @ her condo. I assume it will fit but want to make sure.. I found the specs of the new trucks which were about 78"? Or are the new ones a little higher?
Mine has a 2.5 leveling kit & 3" rear blocks so about 80.5 90ish? add another inch or so for my 275/70/18s.
She said the sign over the garage said 6'10 & I just dont know if thats cutting it too close or if they play it on safe side with those signs? It would be nice if she could keep it inside overnight but if shes going to be scraping paint... (just thought maybe somebody knows the dimensions or a link to the dimension better than I do & I dont have the truck here to throw a tape on it at the moment.)
Its close and you will hate the ride in but yeah it will fit. I can squeeze into 6'9" anything less and the signs hanging from the ceiling hit just a bit.
I have an 06 XLT EC 4x4 with a cap that's 4" higher than the cab with stock 255/70x17 tires and no lift and the truck measures just under 82"(6'10") tall. I won't park in any parking garage under 7'3" clearance. Most parking garages have around 7' (84") of clearance. I just won't cut it that close. 1 speed bump and you're screwed.
