Question 250 Leveling - AGAIN

It seems as if we've seen this topic beaten into the ground, but I have a couple 'new' questions...

If a 250 has 2" rear blocks, and a 350 has 4" rear blocks, the 350 should sit about 2" taller in the rear, correct?

If one were to install a 2 1/2" leveling kit on a stock 250, it should sit pretty much level front-to-back, correct?

If one were to install the 2 1/2" leveling kit AND 4" blocks on a 250, woudn't it still be canted, with the rear end 2" higher? After all, we've just added the 2 1/2" to the fron to level it, then put another 2" on the back to negate our front-end added height. I seem to recall reading that it is pretty common to add these items to 'level' the truck, but I can't understand how it would... What size kit does in normally take to 'level' a stock 350?

I want to put the 4" blocks in the rear of my '05 250, and then level the front out and put 35" tires on it. It seems to me, from looking at the cavernous space in the wheel wells that 35's would fit, since it came with the 265/70/R17's which equate to about 32". With the existing space, plus the added room from the level, they should fit okay.

Can anybody answer the level question?

I'll try! my 02 F250 crew cab 4x4 sat almost level from the factory. i just wanted a little lift to clear my new wheels so i added the 2.5" front lift with the ford 4" block to lift the rear and its still level and i achieved my level lift.

Doesn't your '05 have a completely different front suspension than previous models?

You are correct the o5 runs coils, don't think there is anything out yet specifically for the SD. Other coil spacers may work, but I don't know.

I've been looking at my new '04 F-250 cc 4x4 and I swear the rear is a little low, which end is every-one trying to raise? Seems like it's always the front that gets talked about.

Circle V - the '05 does have the coil springs in the front, so the leveling kits need to be re-designed from all the aftermarket suppliers. It shouldn't be long... I just want to see if the 2 1/2" fornt and the 4" rear block will give me a level look.

Badford - what size tires did you put on after the level? I just can't believe what they put on at the factory. With a truck the size of this, the tires look like train wheels, or 4 'donuts'. At least they went with BFG's...

02Superstroker - I know, but I had wait until I could order the truck, then wait to get the truck... I want some instant gratification! I know stuff'll be available soon.

nfo, I've also got an 05 crew cab. I opted for the time being to run 285 bfg's on mine and it makes a big difference with one more inch of tire. One of my friends already is running 315's on 17x10 in wheels without a lift on his 05 crew. He get's a tad of scrub turning left hard but I was amazed the 315's fit so well. I don't think I could do the same on mine cause it's got the lariat luxury pkg on it and the wheel lip moldings would probably scrub on the 315's and would get torn off in the process. I had 35's on my 03 and thought I'd enjoy the mileage and great handling on this truck for a little while before I altered anything. Check out tough country's website, they are releasing their 05 kit on 9-13-04.
