but hopefully entertaining stuff.
Check out this vid.
It's not me (yay).
I am way to chicken to go up that LONG of a chute.
But I have done the same trip down more than once...
I always wondered why I find so many plastic fairings and cowling way up on the mountains when I ride the horses in the summer.
Guess we need to teach the snowmobilers to pick up their debris after they suffer the yard sale.
I haven't seen any body slide that far since I worked the Mens Downhill course at the 2002 Olympics.

We always picked up our yard sales. We were back in the summer on dirtbikes
On another note, obviously I'm not in a climate that supports sledding and as such, I've never been on one. So, forgive me if this is a stupid question but why in Hades did he keep trying to catch the sled as it came at him and rolled past / over him? I'd let her keep rolling 'til she stopped and then I'd play catch up.

I was actually wondering that myself. I do everything possible to get as far AWAY from it as possible. Getting spanked by a sled HURTS for days! After the first 50 flips, not sure the last 10 will do all that much more damage, most of the parts that are gonna come off are already off
I was thinking the same thing "get outta the way!!", then the snow river seemed to carry him away uncontrollably, which made me wonder why he didn't move.
I dunno, it's fun to see what people do where they live. We are in to beaches, camping (RV), and racing the RC truck. Not exactly thrill seekers.

That's what I thought.....not going to be saving a lot at that point. Thanks....I don't feel so stupid now.
I was in a sleddin' mood this AM cuz I just remembered where the trailer was! Went to pickup the sleds after not moving for 4 years!
Kids are finally old enough to pull around!!!
My arms are sore as heck but got them both going.
Even the cranky ol twin piped escape (black one) Click on it, it's a vid .
I love the sound of the twins!
Sledders are just dying to get out and going, But our avalanche danger has been extreme for the past two weeks. Skiers finally got going as most of the resorts were open for Thanksgiving.
And like most of you, I saw that sled rolling down the hill and thought, "Get out of the way dummy"
Darren Black one sounds good, what cc is it? You got exotic clutches and such on the sleds.
They are both 800's. The black one just has twin pipes and nitrous. The blue one has a lot of aftermarket stuff, SLP clutches, pipe, nitrous, digitron, big wheels, extroverts, track, carbs, reeds, gear drive and I can't even remember what else LOL. But they are old school now. A stock sled would blow them away. Back in the day they were pretty decent.
I lost my nerve for avalanches, that's why I quit. I lost my edge for lots of stuff once I had kids
