I'm new to this forum and could use some help. I own a 2008 f350 crew cab Lariat with eatc dual climate control. The a/c wasn't working properly and when I took it to my local Ford dealership, they confirmed my guess that both blend door motors weren't working properly and gave me an estimate of approximately $1400 to repair. I have had similar problems on my Lincoln Mark VIII and replaced the parts myself, but in that case I had very specific instructions, this job looks a little more difficult and can't find the specific instructions on line. Therefore I was wondering if there was anyone within say 2-3 hours of Newburgh who had any experience with this and was willing to do the job for a more reasonable rate? Any ideas? Thanks, Mike
Yes, I am @62,000 and it's not covered on the CPO warranty, or at least they didn't mention that it was. I wouldn't think so because I had to fight to get the 4 wheel drive shift motor done when they said it wasn't part of the drivetrain. By the way it's a V10 if that's any difference.
