08 F250 PLOW MOUNT FIT 04 F250?
I came across a plow mount for an 08 f250...is there anyway this would fit on my 04 f250?

Don't think so the suspension is very different

The mount just attaches to the frame right? I shouldn't have to worry bout suspension..

The frames are different too. Also suspension has a lot to do with the plow frames. Different clearances are also required for various spring types/bodies.

I've been looking at used plows recently and can say that a 99-04, 05-08 and 09-11 are not the same for Meyer and Western Plows.

Some plow mounts wedge between the leaf spring and the frame, which won't be available on a 05 and newer. Meyer makes a different mount for the 09 and newer, but I don't know why.

I would say for certain a 99-04 mount will not typically work on a 05 or newer, but it depends on the plow mount and where it bolts to.

Those years are not interchangeable. There are differences in a lot of the years in our trucks.

I think fisher part numbers for 99-early 04 is 7159-2 and late 04-07 is 7176 there may be an adaptor kit from fisher but im not really sure.Hope this helps
