What yr radio has RDS?
Anyone know what yr oem radio has RDS??

I know for a fact that all 2006+ Ford Models had it as an option in the premium radios

what year is your vehicle?

i have a 2000, but im looking for a new oem head unit. found 2 out of an 04.

on a side note, did u use to be on F150online? black F150 that had wheels and tires stolen from a body shop??

I had the 6 disc head unit with RDS in my '02 stock unit. The CD player broke so I replaced it. Gave it to another member here on the forum.

yes on the forum, no on the truck. I had a white 06 FX4. I know the black truck you are talking about though. 2005 2wd with 6" lift and 35" tires. was a really nice looking truck in person

My '05 6-cd has RDS.
You enable it via the "menu" button.

After the batteries are disconnected you have to enable it on again.

My 03 and 05 Ex had it....

And I''ve heard tell that rds is how many gps's get their traffic info ?

You'd have to google it to get what the letters stand for, but
it allows the radio to display information about the station/song
being played.

It'll show the call letters of the station,
it'll display the artist and title of song in the lower row of the
radio display.
