Heated seats not working?? Here's why mine don't work (Pics & re-assembly details)
Here why the resistance of my heating element is infinity
I'll take pictures of the painful reassembly and post them.
Solder your heater element, then verify the resistance
I got this:
Glue the element back on
Like so:
This was the tricky part... when disassembling, I just cut all of them to make it easier, now to put this back together, I'll just use tie wraps (and I'll cut them too if I ever need to undo this again)
Place all the tie wraps, make sure you get the squares on the outer sides so you're not tightening them reverse to what makes sense
This is what I mean, the square end is on the outside.
Just tighten them up, cut the end, rotate them so that the squares on below.
Insert the back support and back heater wires in there, they will be in the back of the joint. Push in, move it left, it should pop in
Screw this first
Put back all the edges (black plastic retention clips, it's easier if you do bottom, left, top then right (i think))
Pass the seatbelt wire through, bolt the seat belt back on the side
Rebolt the hinge
Plug the wires back in & secure them
To put the plastic back, just get the lever through then it's easy
Make sure you put that clip in the back behind the metal piece
Two screws
That one
Two more under the seat that go on the side plastic, clip in the back.
Plug all the wires & make sure the seat can freely move.
You're done!

THIS is why I joined this group! To get help and share ideas about something we have in common.
Thank you!
And then, the oil cooler leaks a day after a fresh oil change....
I should have tackled this over the weekend when the weather was better.
