If size isn't the issue, I suggest you return it and get a headrest kit instead. They can be removed when you sell the vehicle, they don't block your rear view, each one can do something different, and the right ones come with games, game pads, and wireless headphones.
I installed a combo monitor and DVD/TV player in our mini van. Pretty easy to do because I only had to run an antenna and power, and there was nothing up there to interfere with it, I did effect visibility to the rear though.
I wouldn't put it in the Navigator, with the rear air control and vents up there, I can't imagine where you could bolt it to. I'm sure someone has done it though hopefully they chime in later.
Those head rest monitors are nice! I could put one in the Caddy and the other in the Lincoln! We have one kid so I'd just need one in each vehicle...something to think about

Were low back buckets with adjustable head rests a common option? I've only ever seen the older Expys with the high back bucket seats ( no adjustable headrest)
