Hey guys. Just bought a 93 f150 single cab shortbed 5 speed 302 for $500.

I am having a few problems.

1. The speedo and odometer do not move or clock miles (show 201,584) which i am sure is way off by now.

2. The 4 gauges to the left (battery, temp, fuel and oil) seem to just kind of flop around.
The temp seems to work Fine

the oil will sometimes seem like it is stuck and if you pound the dash it moves.

The battery does the same thing except if you keep pounding it keeps going up tip it is at 18

The Fuel works sortof. If i fill it up it shows buried in Full and as I drive it goes down but i it almost like at 9/16 of a tank on the gauge is really BONE DRY in the tank.

I found the Fuel one out the hard way. Its wierd though I will drive and then all of a sudden the truck will loose all power and I can keep it at an Idle for a while. Then as soon as I put gas in it fires right up and is perfect again. (This is why I know the gauge is bad) The REALLY WIERD thing is that when I go to the gas station to fill up when at 9/16 on the gauge I can only put in about 14 gallons before it starts coming back out the neck. I have one tank (rear) and I really hope that the tank is bigger than that. I was hoping for a 20 gal at least.
